Thirteen years ago, I established 'The Playground Company' with the ambition of providing playground equipment for local schools in Cheshire. Starting from a small office in my parents' home, I worked tirelessly to build a network of reliable staff, suppliers, manufacturers, and installers. Recruiting my first employee, Hayley 😊
The hard work paid off with our first project in July 2011 of 50sqm of grass grow through matting and a 2m planter bench, which was by no means record-breaking, but marked a turning point in my business. Now, with a team of 12 people and a national reach, we pride ourselves on being one of the best school outdoor play and learning providers in the UK.
My drive stems from wanting to provide a better life for my family, and I credit The Playground Company’s success to the dedicated team I have surrounded myself with.
Despite the recent challenges that a lot of businesses have faced, we remain confident in our ability to keep moving forward and strive for excellence, which continues to make me proud.
